    1. Anne Marie,

Jo Lo? She is nowhere nor never will be in the same league as Rita. Rita had class. Jo Lo has none.

    1. Scott,

My sentiments exactly, just where have all the good dancing movies gone? I used to enjoy them so much. You are right, this was a fun video to watch. Makes me feel good every time I watch it.

  4. In the 50's, you knew that when you saw a Rita Hayworth movie, she was going to do an exotic dance - that was a given. What is super mindblowing about this video, is of course, Rita's talent and the creativity of the person who put this together. It's as though Rita's dance numbers were specifically choreographed to "Staying Alive." This video is a keeper. A big thankyou to you for sharing.

    1. Paul,

Watching this compilation of movie clips of Rita Hayworth makes one realize just how good the old time movie stars were. Not only was Rita Hayworth an excellent dancer, she was a beautiful woman and an excellent actress. Maybe it's me, but I just don't see the same quality in film stars today. I like Meryl Streep but can she dance?

Wow. That took some work to put together.

    1. Lar,

I can't imagine the hours of work that it took to make this "iMovie." Wow. It's perfect. I had forgotten how good Rita Hayworth was. Not only was she a beautiful woman and a excellent actress, she was a super dancer.

  6. You will never see dancing like this on "Dancing With the Stars." Not even close. This is real dancing.
